Writing Center

The Writing Center offers peer tutoring in writing and study skills for current Stockton students.

The mission of the Writing Center is to help student writers grow and improve as writers and critical thinkers. Because process—not just product—is key, we work with writers at all stages: understanding assignments, talking out ideas, organizing work, revision, and editing. To help writers optimize their growth, we suggest coming early and returning often.

 

All student writers can find help here, ranging from those in first-year writing courses, to those working on senior projects and grad school applications. We work with writers across disciplines, and our tutors represent a broad range of majors.
