Stockton鈥檚 Annual Giving Day Sets Records
Galloway, N.J.鈥&苍产蝉辫;The 快猫成版视频 Foundation鈥檚 fifth annual giving day drew record participation and raised more than $150,000 for students and university programs.
Ospreys Give kicked off at 1 p.m., Oct. 12, and generated gifts from 915 donors, surpassing the goal of 750.
鈥淭he ever-increasing level of support for Stockton and the Foundation continues to be inspiring,鈥 Dan Nugent, vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the Stockton Foundation, said. 鈥淲e are absolutely thrilled and grateful for the incredible outpouring of support from alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends from southern New Jersey and across the country.鈥
The theme for the day was Give for Good, and funds were raised for initiatives focusing on student success, equity, wellness,
emerging needs and the environment. Donors selected from more than 100 individual
causes to provide support, ranging from scholarships to emergency relief funds, athletic
programs, student organizations and academic programs.
All 50 years of Stockton鈥檚 history were represented, as donations came from at least one member of each of Stockton鈥檚 graduating classes from 1973 through 2022. Current students also joined in the effort, with gifts from each of the university鈥檚 current classes.
A record 40 match and challenge gifts helped to inspire participation and maximize contributions.
One such match came from 快猫成版视频 President Harvey Kesselman and First Lady Lynne Kesselman, who pledged $5 for every gift made by their fellow Stockton alumni.
鈥淟ynne and I look forward to supporting Ospreys Give every year,鈥 Kesselman said. 鈥淛oining together with the entire community to give back to Stockton in support of our students is not only rewarding, it shows how much Stockton is valued throughout the region.鈥
