Manahawkin Instructional Site
快猫成版视频鈥檚 satellite campus on Bay Avenue in Manahawkin is minutes from the Garden State Parkway and Long Beach Island in Ocean County. The first phase of this location opened on September 13, 2012 as a 3,200-square-foot facility designed to host academic courses and continuing and professional education for area residents. The inaugural professional activity at the Manahawkin Instructional Center was the Languages and Culture Studies Program鈥檚 pilot dual-credit world languages initiative with Southern Regional High School, now a Dual Pathways partner. Since that first fall semester, offerings at this location have risen from six courses to more than 50 each year.
A 7,915-square-foot expansion to the building in 2018 focused primarily on the health sciences. It includes a six-bed Foundations of Nursing lab, complete with simulated patients, and seven physical assessment and examination rooms. The facility offers two state-of-the-art electronic classrooms, and is home to Stockton鈥檚 Accelerated Nursing degree program. Its mission includes serving Stockton students, the Stockton Center on Successful Aging, and the surrounding community by offering educational, cultural, and co-curricular programming.
