The Masters Child Welfare Education Program (MCWEP) provides eligible DCF Casework Supervisors and Supervisors the opportunity to obtain their Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree. MCWEP is a chance for staff to deepen their perspectives on social work and child welfare, develop advanced clinical skills, and enhance their leadership skills. Details about the application process, as well as associated forms, can be found below.
Eligiblie Staff
- CPP/Adoption Operations Supervisors and Casework Supervisors
- Non-DCPP Staff that are currently supervising
- Non-DCPP Supervisors with 3+ years of supervisory experience at DCF
- Non-DCPP Supervisors in a civil service title range 26 or higher
