Why did you choose 快猫成版视频?

I chose Stockton because I instantly fell in love with the school. I love the small class sizes that allow professors to give such individual attention. I love all of the student-driven clubs and organizations on campus, and I love the unique opportunities Stockton has offered me for personal and professional development.

Why did you choose your major?

I鈥檝e always had a passion for science and math and being a physics major has been a great way to explore those topics on a much deeper level. I love knowing how the world works and learning about new phenomena.

What have you gotten out of your academic program so far?

I鈥檝e learned so many technical skills from the physics program, from upper-level math, electronics, thermodynamics, and even some computer science. I鈥檝e also made really close friends in my program who have helped me grow as a student and a person, which is an amazing gift.

What unique opportunities have you had at Stockton?

One my most memorable Stockton experiences was the opportunity to study abroad at Jeju National University in South Korea. I spent the summer after my freshman year taking classes, exploring Jeju Island and making lifelong memories, all for free, because of Stockton.

How is Stockton preparing you for the next chapter of your life?

Stockton has given me the physics education I need to be successful in my career and the opportunities for professional development that will help get me there. The Career Education and Development Office has been very helpful in learning how to find and obtain internships and research opportunities, and my on-campus job as a resident assistant has given me the confidence and preparation to work closely with a team to accomplish goals.

What are your career goals?

After graduation, I鈥檇 like to use my physics degree to help people. I鈥檇 like to find a career in data science that benefits and gives back to the LGBTQ+ community so everyone can have meaningful access to quality opportunities.

What organization and activities are you involved with at Stockton?

This is my third year as a resident assistant at Stockton, as well as my third year as a writing tutor in the Tutoring Center. I鈥檓 also a member of Stockton鈥檚 physics club, and I鈥檓 researching the effectiveness of solar collectors with Dr. Patrick Hossay, professor of Sustainability.
